Wireless earbuds make listening to music less messy

If you use earbuds, it is a guarantee that they get tangled quite often. Well, how can we fix that? Get rid of the wires. FreeWire is a project on Kickstarter to do just that. This snazzy initiative is looking to produce two bluetooth earbuds that will work with just about anything that plays music. How does it do that? Magic. No, just kidding.

If you’re using an iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, or Mac, these will work just fine right out of the box. The same goes for just about any device that can play audio over bluetooth. What about devices like iPod classics or stereos? No problem. The FreeWire comes with a little dongle that plugs into any 3.5 mm audio jack and streams your music seamlessly. No hassle at all.

If you want to grab your very own set of FreeWire earbuds, you’re going to need to drop $70 USD. If you’re quick, the first 100 backers at the $50 level will get their pair for a discount. $130 USD will net you two pairs, and $1,000 USD will get you a pair made of 14k gold. Pretty snazzy, right?

As of publication, this project has just over $3,000 of its $50,000 USD goal pledged. With only 23 more days left, hopefully everyone will jump on this before the chance to fund passes us by. Who doesn’t want wireless ear buds?
