Sparrow team releases a tip blog to help new users

Leaving behind Mail.app is pretty difficult, especially if you rely heavily on mail rules and other processes that you’ve tweaked over the years. If you’ve been contemplating a move to Sparrow, the new popular email client, the Sparrow team has just made your migration a lot easier. Sparrow has released a Sparrow Tips tumblog that aims to answer your questions as well as provide you with some new workflow tips.

The biggest hurdle when jumping to a new system is figuring out the nuances of the application, and the tumblog launched today aims to lower that barrier to entry. There are already several tips that will make your life easier when using their application. They show you how to make use of labels, reply from the toolbar, as well as use alias.

I’ve bookmarked it, and I’ll personally be checking back frequently for tips to help with my migration. Man, if Sparrow could nail down mail rules, I’d be in heaven.

If you run all your email through Google services like Gmail and Google Apps, you’re going to want to check out the application. It’s pretty great.
