Artist renderings of Grand Central Terminal Apple Store appear online

If you think your local Apple store is snazzy, can you imagine how snazzy a store at the Grand Central Terminal in New York City will look?

Artist renderings of the store have appeared online, courtesy of the Wall Street Journal, and we have to say, the store looks absolutely fantastic. Heck, it even looks fantastic with the hipster-esque photo processing that seems to have taken place during post-processing.

Some more information has also rolled in about the Grand Central Terminal deal. According to the Wall St. Journal, Apple has paid Charlie Palmer’s Metrazur restaurant $5 million to vacate its location eight years before their lease expires. The MTA will see their annual rent income go from the $263,997 paid by Metrazur to a giant $1.1 million from Apple.  Looks like it’s win-win-win for all the parties involved.
