Apple reopens The Cube, still a glass cube

The famous Fifth Avenue retail store in Manhattan has officially re-opened this morning, and just like the day it disappeared, it has re-emerged as — wait for it — a glass cube.

Kidding aside, the new cube is quite the feat. The store only uses 15 panes of glass as opposed to the 90 panes used in the previous cube. But, something tells me Apple won’t be completely satisfied until the cube has zero seams and can be considered unibody design. We wouldn’t want construction works to be able to replace a single piece of glass on their own, would we?
