We are big fans of the Twelve South Magic Wand around here (and even gave one away). The one thing some of dislike about it is that the batteries need to be changed out, making for a lot of sliding in and out of our peripherals over time.
Enter Mobbe’s new Magic Bar.
The Magic Bar seems incompatible with the Magic Wand, but it may be worth it. The Magic Bar is an inductive charging system that replaces the AA batteries with a rechargeable cylinder that simply needs to be in contact with the Magic Bar for the juices to flow. The Magic Bar receives power from a USB port.
