Shapeways, a website that takes your ideas and transforms them into real 3D objects, recently held a contest to see who could create the best portrayal of Siri. Some of the designers took advantage of Siri’s feministic qualities while others focused on her futuristic, robot-like qualities when designing their creations. The winner of the contest, SaGa Designs, incorporated both of those concepts to come up with the creepy cool Omniscient Siri iPhone case.
While this design is entirely impractical as far as cases go (it provides zero protection and is awkwardly shaped), we’d be lying if we said that it didn’t look incredibly cool. Crafted of strong but flexible material, this case gives Siri a mostly ambiguous but slightly more feminine face that seems to swirl to life from your iPhone’s screen. The glow of the screen from behind the smirking face brings it to the next level of creepiness as it lights up the eye and provides an ominous background glow.
