iOS alarm bug spreading to Europe

Australian iPhone owners have been dealing with an alarm bug for over a month now. The bug, it seems, is not recognizing the daylight savings changes, and sets off your alarm one hour early, despite the time being displayed correctly.

The bug is spreading alongside daylight savings changes around the globe. As of this morning, the problem has spread from Australia through to Europe.

It’s likely that the problem will spread to North America on Sunday, unless Apple manages to get their iOS updates out the door this week.

So, if you live in Europe, you might want to start setting your alarms an hour later than normal. You can also use the snafu as an opportunity to trick your mind into getting an early jump on your day.
