Apple Releases iOS 7.1.2, OS X 10.9.4

It’s a busy day for Cupertino’s update servers. Apple has rolled out updates for both of its iOS and OS X operating systems. They aren’t massive updates, but they certainly bring with them quite a few bug fixes.

iOS Update

Apple has released iOS 7.1.2 with minor bug fixes and software improvements. These updates include improved data transfers to third-party accessories, iBeacon stability improvements, and data protection issues with Mail.app.

You can download the update now via iTunes or by way of the Software Update feature in Settings.app.

OS X Update

Additionally, Mac users have received OS X 10.9.4, an update that has been in testing for about a month, with the latest developer build going out just last week. It is recommended for all Mavericks users and brings wake from sleep reliability improvements, fixes an issue that prevented Macs from automatically connecting to known Wi-Fi networks, and includes Safari 7.0.5.

You can update your Mac to 10.9.4 using the Mac App Store.

The Apple TV has also been update. You can get the details on that update here.
