Issue 2 of Project surfaces, still no daily updates

Patrick over at Just Another iPad Blog has a bit of a running beef with Project and their lack of promised updates. When Richard Branson pitched the application, he was quick to point out that the content would be constantly changing over time, from day to day. That hasn’t happened.

The first edition of the iPad magazine came and went without one single content update. Issue two is now available as an in app download for $2.99, and Project is still referencing their original promises of “a full month’s worth of updating content – for just US$2.99.” There’s nothing quite like breaking promises right from the beginning.

To play devil’s advocate, Project might be waiting for someone at Apple to flip the switch on background updates. We don’t know for sure, but that could be one likely explanation for the lack of updates.

If someone out there works for Project and knows what’s going on, we’d love it if you dropped us an email to fill us in. Until then, we’re just going to go on assuming that Project is having a difficult time fulfilling their promises.
