Apple Has More Stuff To Show Off, Will Hold A Media Event On October 16

In just over a week, Apple will convene the press again and show off some more of its wares, as The Verge notes.

The upcoming event takes place October 16, and it looks to be a bit more low-key, taking place at Apple’s on-campus Town Hall instead of larger venues like Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco or the Flint Center in Cupertino.

Apple never says what it plans to announce ahead of time, but new iPads are probably a safe bet. Apple also typically uses its second fall media event for new Mac announcements, so we may see new Mac hardware and get a final release date for OS X Yosemite. I guess we’ll find out for sure soon enough…
