BaseApp goes free in Mac App Store

Here at Macgasm, everything we do goes through Basecamp. It — and IRC — is how we communicate as a team throughout the day.

While Basecamp is great, if it’s not open in the browser, it is easy to go too long without checking in. There’s a great little Mac program named BaseApp that makes this problem go away — and now it’s free on the Mac App Store.

BaseApp is a menubar app that shows new activity, refreshed as often as every 1 minute. The app supports multiple logins, so if you’re part of numerous Basecamp sites, there’s no problem. It supports Growl, if you’re into that sort of thing, as well.

Check the link below for details. It has a permanent place in my menubar now.
